No Red Bull-Porsche ‘celebrations' yet – Marko

Jul.30 Dr Helmut Marko says it's 'premature' to start celebrating Red Bull's works Formula 1 collaboration and 50 percent buyout by Porsche for 2026 and beyond. Leaked company filings this week showed that Volkswagen-owned Porsche is buying half of the energy drink company's premier F1 team. 'I'm not allowed to accept congratulations yet,' Red Bull's top Austrian official Marko told Kleine Zeitung newspaper. 'These reports are premature.' In an official statement, however, Red Bull confirmed that 'discussions' are underway with Porsche. 'We've had talks,' Marko added, 'but nothing has been decided yet.
