Daniel Ricciardo told to finish P20 at every race as Oscar Piastri set to replace him

A fan on social media has suggested that Daniel Ricciardo intentionally finish last every race between now and the end of the season to spite McLaren. The Australian has struggled since his arrival at McLaren at the start of last year, and he has been out-qualified 26 times in 35 races by team-mate Lando Norris. Ricciardo ended last year 45 points behind the Briton in the Drivers’ Standings, but the silver lining for him and the team was his victory at Monza, which was the British side’s first since 2012.
