Formula 1 car set to be sold at auction for over $3 million
There is a lot of priceless Formula 1 memorabilia that can be acquired by collectors all over the world, with helmets, autographs and even steering wheels becoming available on the market from time to time. The pinnacle of a Formula 1 collection however would be a car, as occasionally the extraordinary pieces of machinery go up for sale at various auctions for different causes. McLaren recently sold part of their classic Formula 1 collection to a company in Bahrain in order to fund their supercar project, while one of Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari’s was auctioned off earlier this year for an eye-watering fee.
