Russell sees nothing stopping Mercedes bidding for 2023 title

George Russell insists that Mercedes can be right in the mix for this year's Formula 1 world championship, despite the teams' slump in performance last year. The squad dominated the modern hybrid era with eight back to back constructors titles, before finally being emphatically dethroned by Red Bull in 2022 as a result of early issues with the introduction of new rules and regulations. Russell himself delivered Mercedes' only win of the season in Brazil, with the team looking stronger in the final races of the year.
