Ferrari admit Leclerc 'miscommunication': It was not a good call

The incident unfolded when Leclerc pitted under the Safety Car, which was deployed following Lance Stroll's retirement from the race on Lap 18. Leclerc had been ahead of Lewis Hamilton before his stop but emerged behind the Mercedes, with the Monegasque having been informed too late that he needed to push from "Safety Car line one".
