Mercedes in need of immediate turnaround amid Aston Martin pressure

This weekend's Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is a massively important one for Mercedes, with the Germans having performed woefully at the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix. The Silver Arrows were expected to bounce back from their disappointing 2022 campaign in Bahrain; however, the complete opposite occurred. Mercedes somehow managed to slip further behind the likes of Red Bull and Ferrari, with Lewis Hamilton and George Russell having settled for fifth and seventh.
