Sergio Perez accuses Max Verstappen of making them both risk retirement

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix winner Sergio Perez has criticised Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen for having 'pushed more than necessary', with both drivers having risked retirement as a result. Pérez drove brilliantly from pole at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Sunday, with the Mexican having quickly regained the lead after being overtaken by Fernando Alonso on the opening lap. Once back in the lead, the Mexican controlled the race beautifully; however, he was left unhappy in the closing stages of the second round of the 2023 F1 season.
