‘Signs': Daniel Ricciardo hints at Formula 1 return

As the Australian Grand Prix kicks off on Sunday, a familiar face will be absent from the grid, as Daniel Ricciardo doesn’t line up with his fellow drivers for the first time since 2012. Having been dropped by McLaren in a shake-up at the team, Ricciardo failed to find a seat on the grid, settling for a third driver role at his old team Red Bull, while he assesses his future. Returning to the Formula 1 paddock for the first time since he left McLaren at the end of 2022, Ricciardo appeared at the Albert Park Circuit on Thursday for media duties with Red Bull.
