‘We are back': There will be a race this weekend despite Emilia Romagna GP cancellation

Sim racing outfit Team Redline confirmed on Thursday that an event will be put on following the cancellation of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, with the region having been battered by torrential rainfall and flooding. It was announced on Wednesday by Formula 1 that this weekend's Grand Prix had been cancelled, with the region's emergency services currently being stretched due to the widespread destruction being caused. Landslides and horrific flooding have devastated the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, with several F1 personnel having become trapped in their hotel.
