Sainz leads Alonso in double red-flagged Monaco FP1

Article To news overview © XPBimages Carlos Sainz was quickest in the opening practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix, ahead of Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. The Ferrari driver was 0.338s ahead of Alonso on the Medium tyres having made a late improvement, while Hamilton was 0.663s off the pace. Alonso was blocked by Sergio Perez on one of his runs, to which the Spaniard retorted "I will be on the racing line all the slow laps" having let the Mexican by for his fastest lap that put him fourth. Charles Leclerc attempted to improve in the closing stages from P5, but locked up coming into the Nouvelle Chicane and again coming out of the Swimming Pool section.Any further...
