Hamilton penalised after crashing out in Monaco

Article To news overview © XPBimages Lewis Hamilton has been found guilty of speeding in the pit lane before crashing out of Monaco Grand Prix Third Practice. The three-time Monte Carlo winner brought an early end to FP3 after losing the rear of the heavily-upgraded Mercedes at Mirabeau, with the front left becoming wedged under the barrier. No further damage was sustained to the car, which was recovered by marshals and should be out on track for the start of Qualifying at 15:00pm on Saturday. However, just after he did crash, Hamilton earned Mercedes a 600 fine from stewards after speeding in the pit lane. He was clocked at 65.6 kph (40.7mph) with the limit for this weekend being 60kph...
