Carlos Sainz lambasts ‘amateur journalists' and TikTok

Carlos Sainz was quick to slam 'amateur' journalists this week ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, following reports that the Spaniard was at risk of missing the sixth round of the 2023 Formula 1 season. It was speculated on Tuesday evening whether Sainz would be unable to race at the Circuit de Monaco, with the Ferrari driver having been substituted during the annual Monaco charity football match. The reasoning for the reports though, was because he was seen receiving treatment to his right thigh, which was later seen heavily bandaged.
