Former Ferrari team boss Binotto lands new job outside motorsport

F1 Test, Sakhir, Bahrain International Circuit Despite links to several Formula One teams, former Ferrari Team Principal Mattia Binotto decided to leave motorsport behind to lead TEXA's E-Powertrain division. Binotto departed Ferrari at the end of the 2022 season when he was replaced by Fred Vasseur. Over the course of the past months, the Lausanne-born engineer has been linked to multiple F1 teams, mainly with the Sauber-run F1 outfit that will become Audi's works squad in 2026. However, the Italian has now secured a new position, becoming the managing director of TEXA S.p.A.
