Sainz acquisition a signal of Williams' ambition - Vowles

Carlos Sainz signing for Williams is proof of the ambition and momentum within the team, according to team principal James Vowles. Williams has secured the services of the Ferrari driver from 2025 onwards on a multi-year contract, with Sainz replacing Logan Sargeant next season. Sainz had offers from Alpine and the future Audi Formula 1 project to decide between but has opted for Williams after months of deliberation, with Vowles saying he is the ideal addition to the team’s lineup given his experience.
