Drugovich set for FP1 outing with Aston Martin at Mexican GP

09/10/2024 at 15:4309/10/2024 at 15:44 Aston Martin F1 reserve driver Felipe Drugovich will enjoy his first outing onboard the team’s 2024-spec car in Friday’s opening practice at this month’s Mexican Grand Prix. Drugovich will take to the track in the session at the wheel of Fernando Alonso’s car before the Spaniard returns to his mount for FP2. While it will be the 2022 FIA Formula 2 Champion’s first outing in Aston’s AMR24, the Brazilian is well acquainted with the team’s current contender, having helped develop the design through his extensive simulator work at Team Silverstone’s Technology Campus.
