Loophole for Cadillac: Will they have a competitive advantage before 2026?
Although the 2025 Formula 1 season has yet to begin, teams are already looking ahead to 2026. That year will bring a major overhaul of the regulations, requiring significant adaptation for all the teams. Starting from January 1 of this year, teams have been allowed to start work on their 2026 challengers. Still, there might be one team that got a head start, having started initial designs as early as 2024, potentially giving them a competitive edge.
