I am shedless due to living in a 4-room apartment. So sad. All those skills I learned in woodshop worthless. Until I get married and move into a house.

I used to yearn for a sanctuary like that. Until I learnt to internalize it. Now I carry my sanctuary wherever I go.

A shed. I call that a 'man-place'. Every man needs a place. Every man needs a shed. I don't have one. I go down to the big Lowe's Hardware round the block and sit in theirs. I gather up some power tools, a handful of bolts and a garden chair and sit there in that metallic haven. Then security throws me out and I sadly head back to my women-dominated house. All women. Even my cat is female. Even my male cat is female. I have the only set of testicles in the house. Well, I guess I'm not 100% sure of that...there are jars in the kitchen I've not looked into...

I'm kind of in the same situation. But it's okay since I have no kids. If the only people I lived with were all males, I think it might be, uhh, different...(no offence to any gay guys here...)

Whenever I visit my parents, I usually mow the lawn first thing. Even if it doesn't need to be mowed. Just for the sake of doing something that involves a machine. Pushmower, of course. Ride-on's are for babies.
