Pornography

So.

Got this idea from one of Dribbler's off topic spectacular posts on Bruce and his mexican midgets.

Men watch porn and are not afraid to admit it. They'll brag about the movie they watched last Thursday night to their friends. Guys in my view are very rare to tell their friends what they do in the bedroom with their girlfriends (unless you b#####ds all lie to us!!)

Women tell everything to their best friends. How their man seduces them, and yes - if he was any good or not. (Personally, I never comment on performance - if it was bad for me (never has been!) then I was equally as bad - a man likes to know you're enjoying yourself and you're just cheating yourself if you fake it.) We never tell our friends, "Guess what? Watched this cracking porn film...."

Why?

I think Pornography - as long as its not harming anybody or anything and its all completely legal - is healthy within reason. Teenage boys with their magazines, guys watching it when their girls are out for the evening, couples enjoying it together. Women say "Oh these girls are exploited." No, they're not. They know what they are doing. Most will say they enjoy their job. If they didn't want to be there, they wouldn't be.

I wont lie. I have watched a few. My boyfriend knows. Its curiosity more than anything. If my boyfriend chooses to watch, then by all intents and purposes he's a healthy normal male. I am now secure enough to know that he loves me, he is with me for that reason, and he still finds me attractive.

But why do women never admit to having watched.... shock/horror - a porn film? I love to see the reactions of my friends. "I watched TripleX hot stuff with Jenna Jameson in the weekend, how was yours." Its hilarious. Even if I didn't watch it, its so funny to see their faces.

  Yeah, good point, I'm not sure why that is either.  Guys rarely discuss anything in any depth, unless it's an argument we think we can win.  So we might tell our friends what we did last night if it was unusual, but mainly as a throw away comment, like a friendly way to brag or joke - not as a way of dissecting and reliving an experience.  I definitely don't want to think too hard about my friends naked, so that's another factor, and tbh I think we instinctively see our gfs' bodies as our property.  Even though some of us try to consciously fight against the instinct, it's just not something you really want to share with your friends.    I'd guess this male instinct probably has its biological roots in the need to know that you're the father of your child.  Or perhaps just because we know our friends would screw our gfs in a flash.  To try to answer your question, I guess it's at least partly because women fear being judged.  Silly but probably true, as far as I can tell.

Porn doesn't turn me on.Men are said to be more 'graphic' I mean, they like to see it.We need more than that, like some words, some seduction...a stranger banging a blonde doesn't turn me on.
But of course,I've seen porn and I'm not ashamed of it!!!

Why me, why me, why am I brought into this? Damn I've been watching porn for nigh on 36 years now, my ex wife watched it my current gf loves it, but I hear what you are saying, a lot of women won't admit to it. In fact women won't admit to a lot of things even if caught in the act(like rubbing one out).

That... well lets just say he had a smile on his face and leave it at that.

Bruce, its always your fault. Always. Biggest compliment I could pay you - shows you're a leader not a follower. ;)
