Amnesia

Posted by maure , 30 October 2010 · 153 views

Well, I'm fvcked. Have been for months now but it is still "fresh" to be able to express it... there was a fvcking time when I couldn't even manage that.

So?

Turns out my brain had been switching on and off for a while. I don't remember starting this blog, for instance. I also don't remember sending some of the PM's I sent during the last days. It seems I did not do much harm... but it is an itchy feeling all the same.

Amnesia, yeah, much prefer to focus on that. The other stuff is an unspeakable fvcking nightmare that I won't get into. But the amnesia part is amusing in some regard.

Come to think of it, I might just be losing it again since I'm making another post on a blog I don't remember ever starting. Sht.

Ok.

Just wanted to say thanks to you guys, thanks for your "get well wishes" and all that crap.

Was I always this incoherent? Really? Well, fvck you.

Funny thing, this Internet. I am actually relieved and happy because I am watching a certain combination of letters on my monitor. Letters typed by some guy I've never met who is thousands of miles away in a land I've never been. A guy with whom I disagreed many times, on top of it. Again, funny.

And yes, it's so fvcking great to have you back.

Sh#t, I mean it.

Oh, and about your amnesia...in case you forgot, you owed me USD 1,000,000. It's ok, we can agree on monthly payments if you don't have it all with you right now. After all, that's what friends are for. :whistling:

Good to hear (read) from you too.

Regarding the debt, elaborate on how you and I came to that unusual state of events...

Welcome back maure :)

Meh.  Amnesia my arse, you just don't want to admit that trip to Andres's, and the wild man sex he said you both had.

Glad to see you pulled through Maure  ;)

That made me smile, medilloni. Appreciated.

You've been missed, sir.  Andres strove mightily to stir the pot (the one that comes to a rapid boil) in your absence but to no avail.  There's only 1 maure which does not come as a surprise to you, unless you have a doppelganger you need to tell us about.  At the risk of sounding like a witless wonder - and that is easy for me - perhaps you simply need more recovery time.

Had amnesia and de ja vu at the same time once. Just got this feeling I had forgotten about it before. Glad you are back in the loop, maure. One of the more interesting reasons to frequent these mirky internet forum waters.

Welcome back Maure! I'm so glad to see you here again :)

Glad to have you back, old friend!  You *cough* remember?  I was your best friend on here - unlike Andres, I'm not even going to remind you about your debt to me (and society). :P  Pay me back in your least scarce commodity: completely mind-numbingly head-bangingly absurd arguments!

Nice to see you back maure.

We have a saying in Spain: bicho malo nunca muere.

But it doesn't apply to you so don't worry about it. ;)

Cheers!!!

With a bottle of nihonshu and some Spanish red wine.

Thank you, good folk.

"bicho malo nunca muere." My Basque friend has translated it for me and all I can say is that it is sweet of you. My wife laughs at this but, hey, I always tell her she is being sweet when she tells me I'm a pain and she always laughs at that...

Yeah, I need more recovery time... but, you see, I only post when I work and I have tones of work (pending as well as ongoing). The (my) problem is that I was let out of the hospital (legally, I mean, I escaped a number of times prior) under certain conditions, namely, X1 amount of classes to teach, X2 amount of hours of intellectual work, X3 amount of hours of programming, X4 amount of _minutes_ of reading/studying (yeah, _minutes_, fvck me),... XN amount of visits back to the hospital. So you are my therapy. Keep me insane.

Well, your insanity was missed here so welcome back!

My mum says that amnesia improves your quality of life. And welcome back from her too :)

Thank you, that made me smile.

I can confirm that your head feels unusually "roomy"... which is not that bad for folks that, like myself, wit and cogitate for a living.
