God it uglyyyyyyy.

They could have improved it a lot with a wide track and fat rear wheels.

Imagine these wheels and track onto the F60.

I know I'm a newbie to this F1 stuff, mid 1980's only but to me that looks nothing like a F1 car should look any more.

Was'nt that the original name of the Enzo?? Car enthusiasts will be very angry, especially the ones that are 70 years old & can tell you every single Maserati ever made since the early 1800s!

From what I've read, it was just known as the Enzo with no number attached, although its predecessors were known as the F50 and F40.

Strange, they say the front wing is 'higher and wider'... looks lower to me (and I thought the regs were just that too?).  And yes, we're going to see loads of first-corner-front-wing-flying methinks.

I agree with you, and so does Robert Kubica incidentally. The front wings are massive, the drivers are going to have to learn to leave extra margin when fighting for position in the first couple of corners. Expect teams to be practicing replacing the front wing almost as much as they practice changing tyres and refuelling in the lead up to Melbourne.

Is it me or is the nose (from c#ckpit to tip) really long? Cant wait to see all the others now!

True, the new regulations state that the front wing had to be moved forward. As I said before, I can't wait till Thursday to see Toyota's take on the new regulations compared to the boys from Maranello.

I agree it looks ugly, but what is important is that Massa was happy with it and both driver found it prettier than what they thought, Massa also said that he found it to be small probably is going to have a good aerodinamic profile, at least I hope so.

Interesting to see Ferrari kept with the out board mirrors with the F60, keeping with their little tradition. They mounted them like 2008 Renault and Toyota (i think) on the sidepod vanes before they moved them back inboard due to excessive vibrations. Will be interesting to see if Ferrari make that location and mounting concept work.

I seen the car and what i did notice how close the engine is to the fuel tank( by the exhausts) and how the nose gets longer each year.

I like it.  THe rear wing looks a bit d#cky and oversized for the car, but, meh, they're all going to be like that.

Nice looking car.  Shame its red. :P

We are very much back to the simplistic designs we last saw in the early nineties, I agree.

IMHO no one should be 'launching' cars this year.  With Eccles Cake and the Mad Whipper banging on about cost-cutting all winter long, it looks more than a little obscene, [in the face of fiscal events worldwide too] and does nothing to enhance F1's image after the tardy shenanigans of Ferrarigate, Maxgate and the disgusting racist press reporting pertaining to Hamilton and Dennis.  I believe a far more low key opening to the season would have been appropriate.

Well that's precisely what most teams are doing, in fact. They are still 'launching' their cars in the sense that they are releasing them, but most teams (if not all) are releasing their new cars from their factories without any expensive launch parties.

OK now I've looked at the car & boy it's horrible! Unless the McLaren has the same rear wing & rectangular front wing, I might have to say something I would've never have thought I'd say ever!

Nah, we already saw the front wing on the McLaren and my impression of it was that it's "wavy", and probably less square... anyway, if the McLaren is ugly there's no hope at all XD

I agree, F-60 should have been named after something beautiful. With those narrow wings as inspiration Ferrari should have named their racing car as Ferrari Shumi.

Maybe when the day comes that Michael passes on Ferrari might name their F1 challenger in his honour, like they did with the F2003-GA paying respect to Fiat Boss Gianni Agnelli.

:) Ah.... as an extension of this I see a whole new era of sponsorship opportunities from celebs - just think of the income potential:

The BMW Schwartzeneggar (or the Beeminator)
The Ferrari De Nero (You looking at me?)
The Red Bull "Raging Bull" Rourke
The McLaren Connery (shaken not stirred)
The STR J-Lo (famous for its larger rear profile)
The Williams QEII (I'm sure the Queen could be persuaded to part with a few millions)
The Toyota Chan (slightly comedic and famous for doing all their own stunts)
The Honda Lucan (famous for disappearing without trace)
The Force India Willis (Tough sounding name, double hard b*stard as a sponsor)
The Renault Reno

How about naming Ferrari's supercar in the late 21st century after him! Forget Ferrari F100, if there will be!

I see Ferrari are not exactly confident about the new season.

Laudable to be respectful of opponents I suppose but perhaps it masks the fact that they are really not confident about the forthcoming season.
