Is it safe to say that this series is well and truly dead? I haven't heard a peep out of anyone except for the event cancellations but nothing beyond, say, a press release saying that it's dead and selling off all assets etc. etc. The website apparently died a while ago, too. Seems like a horrible investment on Ferrari's part but maybe they can salvage the cars and turn it into some sort of Ferrari spec series like WSR.

I only started watching AFTER the Ferrari switch and there were a few races from this past (and final?) season. The early wet races were definitely fun to watch. Anyone have any good memories/vids/whatever from A1's past?

Nope.

Good memories? Sure, before Ferrari came in and c*cked it all up with a new car!

I'm saying that as a Ferrari fan btw, but seriously, what was wrong with the Lola-Zyteks? Great noise, great racing, great series. Such a shame to see A1GP end that way, ANOTHER single seater championship that has died to add to the history books!
