We keep on working, we do our thing, Vettel shouts over the team radio,We are who we are!

"Vettel is a champion. That’s not referring to his achievements, but rather to his approach to everything he does. He wins. All the time. His preparation is meticulous, his attention to detail reminiscent of Michael Schumacher at his peak, and his performance on the track is almost always flawless. Vettel is capable only of domination. He knows no other way... Vettel is not in Formula One to be liked. He is there to win. And in the words of Ayrton Senna, perhaps the greatest of all Formula One drivers, “Nice men don’t win.”"
Chris Cameron-Dow

"One might be tempted to say Ferrari are inconsistent this year. I think the opposite.
They are having one very good race followed by one very poor race. Consistently.

The new livery looks nice, but I have a feeling that in normal daylight on the track, it will look rather dull.  I suppose we'll see soon enough.

Pointy pointy nose, a'la Sauber from last year....very sculptured side pods....looks nice....

Appears to have central rear exhaust, same as Red Bull.

Can't tell. My eyes keep wandering back to the two drivers standing up there and thining to myself "where they actually been instructed to adopt such an artificial, yet gayest of all positions by someone?" or was it just a sudden inspiration from Penelope Pitstop and Michael decided to "copy her setup"?

"On the rare occasions that I play a racing game I often think ‘you know what this needs? A boss battle or two.’ A Formula One game in which, suddenly, everybody else has a monster truck and their sole desire is to squash you. A street racing game with a tank or two blowing the roads and buildings to bits. A Nascar game with a track that occasionally bends to the right" (Adam Smith - RPS)

My goodness Schumi's looking gaunt in that pic. He looks like he's in his 50-60s there. The neck, the look on his face, not a good picture of him.
"He's a f**king idiot. I want to hit him when I see him!"

"Obviously I am pleased to have many fans. Who would not want? But to be honest, I have no idea why people like me."

"Do you really think I would be here if it was just about money?" Raikkonen hit back.  "I do enough fun things in my spare time than to have to listen to this bullsh*t."

"There is always a lot of talk about the motivation but nobody really knows what I do or what I think except for myself, so I don't really care about what people say."

"There's always talk about my motivation, written by people who don't know me and couldn't have an idea on how strong my motivation is. If I didn't feel I had the motivation, I would stop. My feeling is that I probably drove some of my best races in my last season in Formula One and I was very happy with my performance. I've never had any issues with motivation."

They appear to have ditched that thin razor blade bodywork feature that went from the top of the airbox down the back of last years car.

That was mandated by a rule change outlawing "blade" roll over structures.  Nothing to do with whether the design actually met its goals and worked or not.

OK...so I read that the blade roll over was banned....but Team Lotus has an iteration of it on their car....though it is much thicker....must be a rule about the width, more than the concept.

Well if you did turn up would you not increase the quota by 100%?

Simple answer to that. No. He wouldn't.

Anyway, some of those blade things are allowed, it's in the regulations. The one Merc ran last year no lnoger complies, 1Malaysia's does.

Going by the two testing sessions, it seems Schumi's handling the W02 better than Rosie. Wonder if it means Merc built it around Schumi. What do you think?

I think the car's built around Schumi. Plus, Schu seems to be in the groove much more than last year.

Who knows.  And just wait for the season to actually start to see who is in the groove or not.

Besides, it's a myth you can build a car around someone.

Correct. Just ask McLaren and Nigel Mansell.

Just wanted to comment on how much I dislike the green in the livery, bloody horrible! Nice looking machine though, but the Mclaren is this years winner of the beauty contest!
