Yes, I've just watched that temp is lower than initially predicted. In any case I meant higher temps than in previous days, not as an absolut term.

Ah yes, read on Autosport (I think) just now, that race day is warmer than quali day.

Schumacher losing time in sector 1. Button reeling him in. Rosberg pulling away from him. I don't like this at all.

Schumi's front-right tire wasn't bolted on properly, I think.

I hope the McLaren duo overtake Rosie. Fat chance, though. Rosie's driving like a possessed man.

The bitter consolation, if any, is that Mercedes isn't suffering from any tire issues so far.

What a race!  That was racing boyeeees.  F'ing great finish by everyone in the top then....

Well done Britney....now hit me one more time!!!

Woohooo hoooooooooo

And go Webber stamping his mark on Vettel...those two will have fun this year.

However, Button was unfortunate...he had the pace all race for the win...but that's motorsport.

Best Passer Award goes to Hamilton...how many did he get on turn 6?

Best Thanks For Coming Award goes to Kimi....so close, yet....so...............................................................................................................................................................................................far.

Best Upskirt goes to Webber.....showing a clean underside.

Driver of the Day...Rosberg...perfect lap yesterday for pole....great start...did what a driver has to do....bring the car home.

Vice Driver of the Day....Button....he's got to have shortened odds for the WDC at the bookies after another fine performance.

Three Merc engines on the podium....wonder if that has been the case before?  Would really have to dig into the history books to find the answer to that one.

What a ****ing great race - and I actually got to see it on TV. The Chinese authorities have obviously decided that there wasn't a more important badminton tournament going on that needed showing this year.
It will be the only F1 race I'll see live this year, but it was worth it. Brilliant.

Congrats to Rosie. He was flawless.

About the rest of the field, my non-existent god, what an incredible amount of wheel-to-wheel racing! Lap 55 with Hamilton, Vettel & Webber...phwooooarrr! Hamilton's move on Vettels was brass ballsy. Webber's move on Vettel was also good.

Good showing by the Williams guys. Sauber must be kicking themselves for making a hash of it. Grosjean did well, but Kimi missed out on podium because of poor tire strategy.

All in all, an excellent race with a big blot on it - Schumi's ouster for no fault of his. FFS, Lady Luck, I'm not asking you to give him a bj, but don't bobbitize him, either. It's really disappointing not to see your favourite driver on the podium. Almost seems like every anti-Schumitic on this forum gets their wish granted.

Norbert Haug seemed a bit clueless about the formalities. Funny. When Brawn jogged towards him, Haug didn't know whether to give a double-high-5 or a hug.

No matter how asinine the Germans can be with all their Germaness, I'm sure that they don't have "How to Celebrate the Mercedes Way" in any race manual :P

It looks Merc is a serious candidate for the title and Rosberg did awesomely this weekend. Poor Schumi, he might have been on the podium. McLaren is a solid car with two very good drivers, today nobody could have finished ahead of Rosberg. Red Bull not too far from the Mercedes powered teams, good race both Webber and Vettel. More Renault powered teams like Lotus and Williams behind mother red cow and then Ferrari powered teams.

Was the engine what made the difference in China?

First half of the race was a snooze fest, but it really came alive as the different tyre strategies started to converge. And what excites me most is that there has been no clear frontrunner with different cars being fast at each circuit (although the most consistent performers have to be the McLarens). All bodes well for a really close season.
