Phew, FIA has ruled Merc's wings to be legal & dismissed Lotus's protest.

Now, for Mercedes/Schumi to qualify on pole & gather all of 2 points.:(

I am watching it. As exciting as watching the 12 hours' DVD special collection on "Charles Pic: a marvelous tale"

As for the Macas. It is either some sort of very clever rear flow measuring device or a very useless plowing device.

Mclaren look reasonably good. Lotus may be in there. At least based on P2.

With that huge lock up zone (the braking point on the back straight) plus DRS, the race could get interesting

As for Felipe, oh dear...

Button's McLaren was allowed to run with data rigs.

You don't know anything, Brad.  Not "nothing".  That would be a double negative, which would therefore imply that you know everything.

This has been a public service announcement.

You may now resume your daily grind.

"I know nothing". This does not imply that he knows 'nothing'. Quite the opposite. To me it means he is aware of a knowledge deficit in everything, apart from this very knowledge. One could of course argue that to understand he knows nothing at all requires quite a high level of knowledge. But as you demonstrate in nearly every post you write, one can write an incredible amount of drivel, suggesting that one is knowledgeable about all manner of subjects. It is only when this drivel is analysed in greater detail do the cracks appear. These normally include repetition, irrelevance, a sense of smug superiority and repetition.

Apparently, only Bruno will be giving up his seat for Bottas. And given that Bottas is managed by a certain Toto Woff (Whose Wife was recently signed as the Development Driver for Williams Racing), it looks like Team Williams will soon become Team Wolff ! :(

we might see a merc on the front row here.
hamilton's getting a 5 place drop. mercs are fast over 1 lap.
they'll no doubt drop down the order during the race, but it's well within the realms of possibility that we'll see them fighting with button and the red bulls for pole.
would make for an interesting race if one of them could snatch it and hold everyone up a bit during the first stint.
