As for the weekend - it keeps changing. Forecast is improving, but too unpredictable to draw definite conclusions yet.

The #4 Audi is the next to improve with a 3:26.918

New fastest pole time! Loic Duval puts the #3 on provisional pole with a 3:24.078

#59 Ferrari takes pole in GTE Pro as the #97 takes second, moving last night's pole sitting #74 Chevrolet down to third.

#38 car hit the wall at the last corner - debris on track. Will probably prevent any more improvements in these last few moments of the second session.

Session finished. Interesting session with a lot of people finding pace compared to last night and a change at the very top with the #3 Ultra now on provisional pole.

An hour break now before action commences at 10pm French time. If it stays dry, there's still a lot to play for.

Another change for the pole position. Andre Lotterer does it again and moves to the top of the time sheets with a 3:23.787

Toyotas both out on the circuit - whatever the problem with the #8 in the earlier session it doesn't appear to have been anything too major. The #7 car still lies fourth overall.

Deltawing update: they still need to do the mandatory five flying night laps for Michael Krumm and Satoshi Motoyama. Work to do.

First red flag of the week. The #17 Dome has gone off quite heavily in the Porsche Curves, substantial damage to the front end of the car.

The driver behind the wheel at the time was Seiji Ara - he's fine and out of the car thankfully.
