“We keep on working, we do our thing,” Vettel shouts over the team radio, “We are who we are!”
"Vettel is a champion. That’s not referring to his achievements, but rather to his approach to everything he does. He wins. All the time. His preparation is meticulous, his attention to detail reminiscent of Michael Schumacher at his peak, and his performance on the track is almost always flawless. Vettel is capable only of domination. He knows no other way... Vettel is not in Formula One to be liked. He is there to win. And in the words of Ayrton Senna, perhaps the greatest of all Formula One drivers, “Nice men don’t win.”"

You can't have it all ways! You can't say that if someone yields then there is enough room, but then assume that anyone BUT yourself yields, that is.
This isn't the boring years anymore where you put in on pole and scamper off into the distance for the win. These days you may have to do a little "racing" to win.
How can anyone expect to learn from their mistakes, if they don't admit to making any? I think he's reached his ceiling now. He's quick, but wheel to wheel, Vettel and Hammy have shown the way.
FYI, I'm no Alonso - hater. I'm just a moaner-hater. Now shut up and drive!

If you don't welcome opinions, go read a Chinese news site. You don't have to agree other's opinions, but you should welcome them, if for no other reason than to test your own.
Personally, I like a driver to be like James Bond, not Billy Bland! (and on this grid, you can see why I'm frustrated)
Now if you don't mind, I have to take a big dump while you compose your response

I love Alonso's Twitter feed. He posted this after retiring from the Japanese GP (and that's retiring, not "spinning out" or being "taken out" which are both pretty misleading): "If the enemy thinks in the mountains, attack by sea, if they think in the sea, attack by the mountains." It's a quote from Miyamoto Musashi, a Japanese swordsman, strategist and some would say philosopher, who lived the life of a warrior in 17th century Japan. Anyway, it's cool because I was reading about this guy just a few weeks ago, and, well, it's just cool that Alonso knows about him and quoted him on Twitter. It just is.
Annnnd for a not so good use of Twitter, Lewis Hamilton responded to a made up story about Button unfollowing him which sprang up last week: "Just noticed @jensonbutton unfollowed, thats a shame...I thought we respected one another but clearly he doesn't." When Hamilton realised Button had never followed him he revoked his statement. He added: "My bad [mistake] just found out Jenson never followed me. Don't blame him!". Clearly, unfollowing him would be disrespectful but never bothering to follow him is completely fine

This was racing incident, but the fact is that Kimi punctured Alonso's tyre ''from behind'',after Alonso went in front of him,.
Alonso didn't run over Kimi's front wing.
Even german magazine 'AMuS 'reported, (they don't like Alonso at all), that judges at track found it was Kimi's fault, but because he didn't do it on purpose there was no reason for any punishment.
They said that they don't know what Kimi wanted to do with that move!

George my friend, I still don't understand how I can agree with most of what you post when our tastes differ in all forms of entertainment. The 'Song of Ice and Fire' is my latest obsession, and that considering that I read the first book 3 years ago makes it also one of the longest. Just saying.
And it is indeed cool about Alonso, maybe we can expect another magic trick before season end

Alonso was a bit too optimistic. He DIDN'T push Kimi off the track nor he swerved abruptly but could have left him a bit more room. Kimi's return to the track was a bit clumsy and the puncture was unfortunate but these things happen. Both Alonso and Kimi had to go flat-out this race but Alonso had more to lose than Kimi.

I am reading the books right now. I am halfway through the second book. The funny thing is that probably the books have ten times more gore and sex than the series, yet somehow they are enough interwoven with the story of a brutal, morally ambiguous era to maek some sense.
The series? Just soft porn. If I wanted to watch that I would rather go for a porn channel. I watched 2 or 3 episodes, it's just a lot of tits for underage kids. Or would have been if we lived in the pre internet days, when all we had when we were hormone filled teenagers was some nude magazines and whatever tits we could glimpse in some "serious" flick.
Nowhadays, even my youngest nephew can get all kinds of sex on the internet for free without much bother. Why sit for a full hour to watch a pair of breasts? I'd rather watch Big Bang Theory, Dexter or old re runs of Monk series

Faith in humanity restored. I thought I was a VERY weird person when I told my friends "You watch the series because of the sex and gore? C'mon there's tons more in the books!" They looked strangely at me. Snif.
