Renault's 2006 car - the R26 broke cover this morning as testing resumed at a chilly Jerez circuit in southern Spain. The car featured the usual livery but main differences can be seen in the sidepods and some sharper looking aerodynamic fixtures.
This is the first time Renault has also tested its new V8 engine on track - its testing before Christmas was compelted with a limited V10 engine in the back of last year's championship-winning car.

Giancarlo Fisichella is completing the first shakedown test laps of the new car. More details and photos to follow throughout the day.

HAHA, In fairness to Ctrl300 though, I think he said the R25 performed like a donkey, not so much looked like one.

Well Narain Fan, compared to the Mclaren I think the R25 actually did perform like a cart drawn by two donkeys.  :D
I do like the design on all the Renaults though

Oh, and yes, you have a call on line 3 Mr. Monza, its an rather upset Narain Fan whom think people on the forum are inconsistent.

the back wing is  having a bend at the centre :eusa_think:

I think it looks great! The more pipes and bends and twists the better. If it could look like a gypsies trailer I would be in heaven :D  :P

Narain Fan, you are right, that bend on the back wing looks, how can I put it, different.

the renault a beautiful car? you gus are crazy, looks like a botched liposusion, it lookes blocky and like crap, the RB2 is sleek, has beautiful flowing lines and just looks mean, the R26 looks like it had a colition with a wall. the RB2 is much better looking. if looks were all that counted the RB2 would be second in the WCC the R26 would me way lower

(for those who are asking who would be #1 it would be ferrari, it just wins for the color)
