:lolroll:

Actually I just noticed the link you posted and went there. My french is good enough that I can read the site, but I still have no clue what Alain races....

The best I can come up with is a European Hill Climb series. My earlier posts can be ignored because this guy's series is below the Sportscar series I was talking about...still looks like fun, though. Reminds me of taking a Porsche 914 through the mountain roads just above Moreno Valley here in California.

That's a great video, thanks! Notice how Ricardo is looking at both his rear-views? Back and forth, back and forth....he must be thinking "WTF??!??"

then it would have been called the biggest mistake of his career, (probably because he would have taken MS with them as well) but thus is the line between genius and madman

Check this out. This is what i call action, great overtaking and magnificent crashes. You even get a view from the inside of the drivers helmet. It’s insane!!! Splendid!!!

It's really that fast, but we rarely get the proper camera angle to see it (it's either a front or back view, which fools the eye and makes motion look slower).

On the '69 footage. Rindt FTW!!

Whenever im reminded of that the first thing that comes to my mind is wheels flying everywhere, then being amazed no marshal or spectator was hurt and relieved that all the drivers where ok.
At the time it seemed much more intense, seeing it later it seems a bit tame...maybe because you know the result.

A year or two back I saw a really good video on F1 driver fitness and the fitness regimes they do. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone have a link to such a video?

Don't have the time to go through all these to see what has and has not been posted, so sorry if these are already up.

Patrick Depailler at Long Beach in Tyrell 008
One of my favorite on board videos of all time, makes me wish F1 cars could still skid around a bit.

Shell Ferrari Commercial
Beautiful.  Simply the best commercial ever.  That 70s Ferrari has a wonderful sound.

Lewis Hamilton 2006 Silverstone GP2
Great overtake, not F1, but close enough.

Villeneuve and Massa, Suzuka 2004
JV did a good job keeping Massa back.

Montoya Tribute
Because JPM was just the best.

Heidfeld and Alonso, Last Sunday
Best overtake so far in 2007.

More later.

Geez, even as an Alonso fan I must say that NH's move was beautiful! (and the comments are from Fox Sports Latin America...it's an argentinean guy speaking, Fernando Tornello :) )

"Great drivers are the ones who win the races they're not supposed to" - K.Chandhok

"On the rare occasions that I play a racing game I often think ‘you know what this needs? A boss battle or two.’ A Formula One game in which, suddenly, everybody else has a monster truck and their sole desire is to squash you. A street racing game with a tank or two blowing the roads and buildings to bits. A Nascar game with a track that occasionally bends to the right" (Adam Smith - RPS)
