Hey guys...Here are the first pics of the Super Aguri.  Take a look and see what you think.  It looks to me like they are running not only an old chassis, but a 1998 or 99 aero package, which is not even legal anymore.

Correct. The new aero parts will not be ready yet. The reason given by SAF1 is that they will get more wind tunnel time if they delay the new bodywork, and that the car in the pictures is a mule for testing systems.

If nothing is legal on the car, they should run slicks and throw a turbo in it :naughty: Arigato, arigato!

Guys that's not the definitive livery.I've read in Autosprint that the definitive one should be similar to the Hondas who raced in the 60s (white with a big red stripe on the nosecone and the raising sun) and should also feature Softbank and Mobilecast as main sponsors.I'm certain that we'll also see the Takata seat belts logo somewhere on the car ;)  :D

That sounds disgusting!

Potentially, a truly hideous livery.  Keep the plain white, I say.

Isn't it obvious? Take a look at who their lead driver is and you'll see the very reason this team came into existence!

The Nojvnof1 2006 driver lineup - Jacques Villeneuve, Nico Rosberg, Christian Klein, Scott Speed.

Its like Sato's new toy...

I dont understand it, at least if Sato were good...but he is terrible, maybe he is the son of someone really important in Japan, maybe his family owns Honda, I dont know...

Well, from Aguri we can`t expect anything this year. Maybe in the beginning they will lose ten laps in one race and in the end of the championship 05 laps. That will be an important achieve.

It's probably Spanish. Vauxhall haven't designed a car since 1977, when Wayne Cherry left. I'll stick with my Honda, but covet a Bristol.

Of course...but my renault cost me around $14000 US and a BMW is not less than $34000...remember, Renault were triple champions...drivers, constructors and budget...smart guys!

Lets say that is easy to have a renault, that by the way are the champions...a BMW is just another competitor...a shame.

Probably legal, there is no obligation to use that kind of wings, they just work better

Hello all,

as you can probably see, this is my first post. I hope I have done this correctly!

I would like to offer an opinion.

Say for example the guys from Honda have been working hard behind the scenes on the sa06. With a pretty good motor behind them, they could become very dangerous to the mid grid teams by the middle of the season?

Just a thought.

Welcom c21!!

I don't know if the FIA would allow Honda to work directly on the chassis or not, now that they are full owners of the old B.A.R Team. It might offend the intellectual property rights regulations that the FIA have imposed.
"Schumacher has said he does not want to do anything bad or for anything bad to happen in this race, so I just hope that is what happens for his sake - but this shows how far Ferrari are prepared to go to help Michael win this Championship."

JV - Oct 25, 1997 - after Saturday Practice in the final round of the 1997 championship at Jerez, Spain. The next day would prove just how far Schumi was willing to go...................

Maybe true, but do you think they can start a design office big enough to design a totally new car in such a short space of time? and if Honda are such big backers of the team, do they want to have the Honda name put on a car that was thrown together at the last minute? I cant help to think that maybe they have some fingers in the design pie.
