You know, recently I've been thinking.....  You're right, women always want something in between two extremes.  I think it's partly because they like mixed signals, so switching between the two modes of behavior unpredictably turns them on.  They like mystery and trying to figure you out - so give them something to figure out!  Also though I suspect in many ways they don't really know what they like, so you just take control and they'll go along with what you offer.

By the way, where did the forum ladies go? A guy needs your advise in here!
Kati says we're all boring now.  :(  Maybe she'll return when the season starts?  You're right though, it is very remiss of them not to help us out here.  Having said that though, you should never listen to what women say they want.  When a girl tells me how to talk to girls, I normally ask how many girls they've picked up with that approach.  Normally even I win, but in those cases I don't, I know I've found someone interesting there.  ;)

On serious note....

Some advice...

the things that i know about picking up women...

In order

Dont be sleezy
Dont be drunk
Dont give the impression that your too interested
Dont Compliment too much..(one or two thats it)
Dont talk about yourself (you have to remain mysterious or you might say something that will be a turn off)
It helps to be seen with other girls you know and perhapes talk you up.
Have a couple of drinks to get happy and talkative..but not drunk
have some ecstasty for yourself. This may help or hinder.. you find that this gives some kind of special powers.

and if none of that works than at least you will get high and have a good night and talk to lots of strangers you dont know. :naughty:

I don't see why not. You are not an ugly guy by any means and you have a brilliant intelligence. Those two facts mean that you have a great chance of scoring in any social group. Perhaps you should pay more attention to them. They don't show interest by throwing in your arms and yelling "take me, now!!" (well, some do, but  i wouldn't recommend them) They are subtle, and seduction is a mix between a dance, a ritual and a hunt (ahhh those days...!) Don't give up and pay more attention to them than you pay to your computer (I know thats the hard part...for me at least) and you will soon start to discover the rules of the game.
We want you to introduce us to your new gf before next season! Hurry up! The clock is ticking! :D

 i hope i can but i am not too hopeful :P

Thanks for the kind words, i guess you are right, my problem is i just find the first step hard, i always feel like i am gonna make a tit out of myself.

Yeah imho this is good advice for older (eg legal) girls at least.  You can try to make them chase u a bit by giving the impression that they're one of a few girls you're looking at that night.  So when complimenting, undermine your praise, or make it ambiguous: "You know, your gorgeous eyes are the most beautiful I've ever seen..... well apart from Margery's and Francis's....oh and Jezebel's so that makes you fourth on my all time list.  Well done!". You want to be seen as a challenge, so tease with a smile.  I don't know much about 13 yrs old girls, and more's the pity.

Indeed.  Don't take ecstacy!  In fact I also find staying sober keeps the brain sharp, as it has to be, to tease girls properly.

Don't knock it, i once managed to make a sex session last a couple of hours by being a bit tipsy (although it was with a long standing girlfriend not someone i picked up, i don't do 1 night stands). You got a point though, if your hammered your in trouble :P

Not to mention real girls (not tarts, nice girls) are not often attracted by someone who is totally blitzed off their a$$

Now you're in danger of making people like Pumpdoc and myself jealous, we get 1hr 59secs of talking about it then one minute of, well, erm.  Oh buggar.  Need to got to the bathroom.  Eh Pumpdock? ;)

Any road up, most 'sessions' for that long mean having an uncontrollable beast locked inside a VERY abrasive pair of jeans under extreme friction for far too long.

For a 13, just go to their sporting events or go places with them. Your parents might object for awhile, but mention how they got their mate...

Also, humour is huge. Keep a laugh going and don't pull a long lecture. Also pull a prank that makes them laugh every once in awhile. Say they don't like bugs... there you go. You can also act a little different. Get a game going with your GF, my gf and i always hit each other when we see each other in the hall at school

Ah, girls. Such wonderful mysterious creatures.

Be a gentleman. Although values are plumetting and we are led to believe that teenagers have no manners anymore i truly believe that any girl would still be impressed by a caring, polite and gentlemanly lad. So if you are thinking of a girl in particular, tell her that you have been trying to find a way of asking her out for ages because you think she's gorgeous. Take her bowling after a bite to eat and have some flowers standing by. The other idiots in your age group will be clueless as to why she thinks you are great. Make her laugh by taking the mickey out of yourself, act a bit stupid, have some fun.

Be cool but be honest. If you're nervous, tell her.

I swear to god i'm one ugly freak. I think i'm like 'Beaker' from the Muppets. That probably means nothing to you but take it from me, he looks strange. I spotted a girl back in '92 and thought 'my god, i want her'. I followed a rough version of the above plan and nearly fifteen years later, she's still mine. I still pinch myself but also have a quiet chuckle because i worked bloody hard for her and i deserve her. She gets more beautiful every day.

just wondered how every1 on this forum goes up to a gilr they dont even no and start talkin to her ???
and yes im bein serious

When I was younger and before I got married, I used to write down what I wanted to say on a scrap of paper (even before a telephone conversation) even to the extent of what my first line would be. Then I would rehearse it a couple of times. Actually after the first few sentences things become much easier. It helps to be very glib though. Try and read her body language and how she responds to your opening line and then take it from there.

Do research on her before you talk to her - who she is, what she does, what she likes

If you are just looking to chat up someone you don't know at all (eg someone you see at a mall and want to talk to), the above approach won't work, just go up to her, say Hi and take it from there........

I have no courage to talk to girls in "real" life. But I find it a lot easier to chat online with babes. I don't know why I have such a hard time bringing my online persona to real life. I guess it's got to do with the fact that I am still not an alpha male. Sigh...hopefully ,one day ...

I think women from every culture are different but in my country what I used to do was to listen what they were talking and get involved in the conversation like answering something that she asked to the person that she is talking too, sometimes you don't get the right answer from them but will find the way keep the conversation alive, what you really need to get her attention and don't mind about any hard answer that you get using this method, it will always work if you keep the good mood and keep answering but don't do it to much the first time if is somebody that you can see often and you can give it another try later.

Kimi Raikkonen: It is the same thing that I said before. I have no interest in driving for a bad team next year. If I race here, I always try to finish as high as I can. I don't need anything to motivate me. If I drive, I drive to do my best and that is it.
jemstride:
"I get the feeling that Alonso fans tend to heap over-praise on Alonso and bring down Kimi whenever they can, with mere theories and unjustified statements."
I just always end up disagreeing with you guys because of all the huge exaggerations, myths, theories & unjustified statements

Lewis Hamilton:
I never go with expectations, I go with a target. That is to be at the front, and the ultimate aim to win, which is the mentality I have always gone racing with.
You've got to be on the limit all the time - and I love that, because that's how I love to race.
