Some advice...
the things that i know about picking up women...
In order
Dont be sleezy
Dont be drunk
Dont give the impression that your too interested
Dont Compliment too much..(one or two thats it)
Dont talk about yourself (you have to remain mysterious or you might say something that will be a turn off)
It helps to be seen with other girls you know and perhapes talk you up.
Have a couple of drinks to get happy and talkative..but not drunk
have some ecstasty for yourself. This may help or hinder.. you find that this gives some kind of special powers.
and if none of that works than at least you will get high and have a good night and talk to lots of strangers you dont know.

He's thirteen years old. Great advice.

Music connects people through the unspoken appreciation of something that sounds right. Something that taps into the deepest corners of your soul, making you feel alive. When someone else gets it too and you know they do, it feels beautiful.

At that age you can get away with anything you say...just be aware that anything you say will be shared amongst her friends!

Now you're in danger of making people like Pumpdoc and myself jealous, we get 1hr 59secs of talking about it then one minute of, well, erm. Oh buggar. Need to got to the bathroom. Eh Pumpdock?
Any road up, most 'sessions' for that long mean having an uncontrollable beast locked inside a VERY abrasive pair of jeans under extreme friction for far too long.
C'mon. You lot tell me you can't remember. Te he
Oh by the way. Foreplay is extremely important. I cannot stress this enough - tell 3 of your mates to get lost

Also, humour is huge. Keep a laugh going and don't pull a long lecture. Also pull a prank that makes them laugh every once in awhile. Say they don't like bugs... there you go. You can also act a little different. Get a game going with your GF, my gf and i always hit each other when we see each other in the hall at school

Be a gentleman. Although values are plumetting and we are led to believe that teenagers have no manners anymore i truly believe that any girl would still be impressed by a caring, polite and gentlemanly lad. So if you are thinking of a girl in particular, tell her that you have been trying to find a way of asking her out for ages because you think she's gorgeous. Take her bowling after a bite to eat and have some flowers standing by. The other idiots in your age group will be clueless as to why she thinks you are great. Make her laugh by taking the mickey out of yourself, act a bit stupid, have some fun.
Be cool but be honest. If you're nervous, tell her.
I swear to god i'm one ugly freak. I think i'm like 'Beaker' from the Muppets. That probably means nothing to you but take it from me, he looks strange. I spotted a girl back in '92 and thought 'my god, i want her'. I followed a rough version of the above plan and nearly fifteen years later, she's still mine. I still pinch myself but also have a quiet chuckle because i worked bloody hard for her and i deserve her. She gets more beautiful every day.

and yes im bein serious
When I was younger and before I got married, I used to write down what I wanted to say on a scrap of paper (even before a telephone conversation) even to the extent of what my first line would be. Then I would rehearse it a couple of times. Actually after the first few sentences things become much easier. It helps to be very glib though. Try and read her body language and how she responds to your opening line and then take it from there.
Do research on her before you talk to her - who she is, what she does, what she likes
If you are just looking to chat up someone you don't know at all (eg someone you see at a mall and want to talk to), the above approach won't work, just go up to her, say Hi and take it from there........

as for talking to us lot - the quickest way to our hearts (and everything else) is to make us laugh, yep its really that simple!!!!! After a self imposed famine i have experienced a bit of a feast lately - on Friday night i went with a Catalan bloke, he wasnt the sexiest looking bloke in the world but he really made me laugh & that won me over big style
as for making us think that your interested in others except us, that is gauranteed to work - there is nothing as assured to get us passionate than a tinge of jealousy
but most of all - be yourself!!!

And yes, being a bit of a clown myself I've always noticed how much do ladies enjoy a funny guy. Guess that must be the reason I still have hope!

I agree. Rummage through her bins - this will often assist in finding out little titbits of information that can be used later. It's probably a good idea to stake out her house and make notes of when and where she goes to help with this process.

thanks
seriously if you can make a girl laugh you are truly sorted - you dont have to be the funniest or daftest bloke in the world just show that you dont take yourself or life too seriously - and dont worry shane2 we like all types & a strange sense of humour can be a nice change
oh nearly fogot you have to pretend that everything we say is really interesting (we know its not but we need flattery too!!!)

Kimi Raikkonen: It is the same thing that I said before. I have no interest in driving for a bad team next year. If I race here, I always try to finish as high as I can. I don't need anything to motivate me. If I drive, I drive to do my best and that is it.
jemstride:
"I get the feeling that Alonso fans tend to heap over-praise on Alonso and bring down Kimi whenever they can, with mere theories and unjustified statements."
I just always end up disagreeing with you guys because of all the huge exaggerations, myths, theories & unjustified statements
Lewis Hamilton:
I never go with expectations, I go with a target. That is to be at the front, and the ultimate aim to win, which is the mentality I have always gone racing with.
You've got to be on the limit all the time - and I love that, because that's how I love to race.
