I knew that F1 was changing, but i didnt realise that points would now be awarded for chosing the UGLIEST LIVERY possible. It looks like Renault have decided to try to score all the points for UGLY that they possibly can.

OR... maybe they are hoping this will make their already quick starts even quicker as all the other drivers will be busy pukeing in their helmets!

YUK!!! I used to like the Renault livery  YUK!!

Anyone remember the ugly Footwork of the mid-nineties? Renault is getting near to that level of ugly.

EDIT: Here it is:

That explained it well enough for me AP. Looking at it now I really wish Renault hired DanielB to design their paint scheme, the first one keeps the light colours around the detailed parts so shows it off nicely(which I loved about the light blue design they used to have) but I guess having classing colours around that kind of detail actually hides it. That or is so horrible i avert my eyes!

I agree with Puma,

the yellow is making the car a mess, I put blue all over the car and I think it looks better...

Posted Image

I know yellow is the official corporative color of Renault, but trying to put no matter what in this livery is a big visual mistake.

Getting back to talking about the car that it hidden under that horrible livery.

I love the way that the rear view mirrors have been incorporated with the sidepod shields, very clean indeed.

I don't care, I still like it.

I just love loads of colour, it doesnt have to be arranged very well for me to like it.

---

I think you did a pretty good job with the yellow, but it isn't really my thing, and also i'd have replaced the yellow on the sidepods with white.

I havent been on this forum in a while but now i have returned for the new season and 2007 releases...

And so far the toyota was predictable and the Mclaren is nice but mostly unchanged and early pics of the Ferrari look nice and i would like to see a Black Honda but this .... thing.... Yellow orange and white ? sounds like a explosion of fruit and colours :S atleast they will probaly get lots of tv coverage just for looking like an eye soar lol. But THe yellow white and orange really do not blend well at all. I loved the dark blue livery and liked it much much more.

New Renault "very strong" - Fisichella

Giancarlo Fisichella is pleased with his new Formula One car for 2007, according to Spanish reports.

The Roman, who turned 34 earlier this month and will this season lead the Renault team in the absence of world champion Fernando Alonso, is quoted by 'Diario As' as enthusing about the R27.

"The new car is going very well and at the moment we are very strong," he told the newspaper.

Alongside rookie teammate Heikki Kovalainen at Valencia on Thursday, the pair successfully simulated a grand prix, including race starts and pit stops.

They were second and third on the time sheet.

Even though Renault dont have the strongest drivers lineup this year i do believe they can do quite well.

Well since Fissi amassed 2 victories in the last 2 seasons in a car that won 4/4 titles I, not sure how to take this news from the Roman?

I think Fisi will do quite well in 2007 and will get several wins at least.
