Of course we'll have to wait and see how it performs when those wheels are actually turning!

My apologies Bathurst1000 on an earlier post. My understanding is clear as to why you questioned that.
Its should have read. Though I do expect very little aesthetic change.
On the RB4 and my first and brief look, it looks quite nice, looks quick. In due time I'll apply a more detailed look.

I like the new racing overalls though.
9 and 10 are better numbers too!
Meh, bit boring with no change to really discuss.

I've noticed so far:
The RB4 has the rear view mirrors placed back out on the very outer edge of the sidepod unlike the RB3 ended 2007 (Mark and David did complain about them being out there on the RB3 at the start of the 07 season, Maybe they don't expect to be looking in them quite as often this year!!).
The side pods look a little more undercut at the bottom compared to the RB3.
The RB4 has gone to a three element front wing.
They have retained the F2007 like sidepod wings on th RB4.
The mid wing is also there as has become a trend.
The RB4 has a long chimmey like the MP4-22 that extends almost the length of the sidepod.
No wheel fairings at this stage
That's all I've noticed at a quick glance. More tomorrow no doubt.
It won't break down today whilst David is at the wheel it's tomorrow when Mark jumps in that the problems will start

Mark Wbber is like kryptonite to F1 teams. No matter what team he joins they suddenly become incredibly unreliable and as soon as he leaves their reliability picks up.

2) @2//horns: I was just joking. I already said something about this issue in some other thread a while ago. I think the old guys are very important in F1. No matter how fast or slow they are, they have something priceless that no new wonderboy can bring: experience. Coulthard, Fisi, Trulli, Rubinho, they are all in the average good guys, and they can share their knowledge with the young ones. Without them, the new ones would probably crash before crossing the starting line.

I'm sure this isn't the first time he has seen the car, and how happy would you be standing in front of photographers for ages?
this car has many internal/suspension/gearbox/hydraulic/fuel tank and dampener positioning changes
the overall theme is the change in weight distribution and thats what will bring this car its speed!!

IF it's not going to move them up the grid on pace, it has too be almost 100% reliable in the season to be worth anything

Well the RB4 did break down with David behind the wheel after all. Maybe it's a sign that Marks curse has left him
