The RB4 seems neither reliable or quick.
If Scott Speed was driving it it would be so quick it'd lap the field in a drag race.  Bad call, Red Bull.

The RB4 showed some good pace on the final day of the Catalunya test to finish fastest with Mark setting a 1.22.385.

You guys will see, the RB4 is the F1.07 of 2007. RB4-100% Adrian Newey + Geoff Willis-Super Fast-Probably Unreliable.

I won't allow myself to get excited by Webbers test result cause if I get my hopes up, I'll jinx things and it'll hurt too much come round 1 when DC finishes 15th and Webber retires with a gearbox problem...

Well trust that to happen as soon as I put 'neither reliable or quick'!
*Maybe* I was wrong about it not being quick, *maybe* it has some pace, but those are big starry maybe's :)

I purposely neglected to mention that in my post

But as the broken record keeps repeating, it's testing and no one will know the real pace of their cars until Melbourne.

Hmm, Scott Speed. I'd rather him than Coulthard.

---

Anyhoo, it seems that they do have a bit of speed afterall, pardon the pun.

Pretty much every team has topped the time sheets apart from the really bad teams and Honda.

Hope that the reliablity has improved and we could see a very close scrap for 4th place.

Get the impression they may have moved up a bit during the winter, as long as they remain reliable.

I think they are part of the pack that contains Renault, Williams, Toyota and perhaps BMW. Difficult for any of those teams to score points.

Well, you'll see him pursuing an open wheel career again pretty soon (probably IRL).  His NASCAR career is going slightly better than JV's.

Don't be silly.  If he didn't suck, if his team didn't suck, and if his car didn't suck, he'd be the best driver in the world.

Anyway, Red Bull for WCC 2008.

I didn't mind Speed but surely you'd take Coulthard over him, despite his ageing years.

His racecraft would get you better results than Speed would do with the same car.
