I hope they keep the Black Livery.

I love it, same with the Honda black Livery they had for testing a few years ago but they always change it come Melbourne :(

This is not the real livery.  It is an interim livery.  The real livery will not be seen until Friday at Australia.

It could be the livery... they don't have any big sponsers who would change it...

SPEEDTV.com says it is interim and they will have a different livery in Australia...

Also, they are running six special liveries in testing, so it'll change even during testing I think.

hardly, maybe the 4th best looking. BMW Ferrari and Renault are all ahead of it in that order sadly, even the fact that the Ferrari is a Ferrari could not save it against the beauty of the BMW

Looks the same as the last one to me, but then so do most!

The new Renault looks weird with its nose cone though, very very drooping, which seems to be a common point of all 2008 cars.

I think this Williams appears to have the least drooping front wing?

That car looks beautiful in that livery, and yes they will be using six different liveries during testing.

I hope it's reliable and quick, because I want to see what young Rosberg can do with a decent car (a lot I suspect).

Nice design concept overall from Williams.

This is what i've noticed this far:

Small winglets over the top of from suspension mountings incorporating the nose cone camera.

Full lengh sidepod vane (much like the MP4-22) incorporating the chimmeys. This vane is very square.

The sidepod wing has the cut in it like the F2007.

More undercut sidepods as per the trend with the 2008 cars.

Williams have continued with the three element front wing with the mounting being on the front element.

Mid wing connecting to / going through the engine cover.

Not sure if it's just me but the driver protection looks more flowing. Maybe because Nico Hulkenberg sits very hig in the car.

No wheel fairings on the FW30.

The dark blue testing livery makes it hard to pick up on detail.

Anyone else have some things they found on the FW30??

I think that it looks pretty ok.

The black should make it stand out a little more on the grid next year hopefully.

That is if they keep it beyond testing until the season.

Liked the old one though, I have to say.

I think the outstanding thing is how 'clean' and uncluttered it looks - beautiful.  But your points in bold might be masking things a tad - and of course we might be seeing ad-ons later.  Stunning looker though........

Wow! It's the 1st '08 F1 car that I've seen with a completely new paint shceme, apart from the FI car which is an upgraded Spyker chassis from last season!

Sadly as we have all been saying in the testing thread and in this thread it's just a testing livery (one of six they will run) paying homage to Williams being in the sport 30 years.

I think it will be the (ahem) dark horse of the year....I don't think BMW will be as good as they hope this year, and with RBR and Renault more than likely to stay about the same as last season, Williams are primed for third in the WDC, and the car looks the part.

You could well be right there. Pity Williams could lose a heap of constructors points through the rookie mistakes of Nakajima.

I think Nakajima will have a Sato like debut, but he will calm down. I am sure Nakajima will be quick and ocassionally worrring some established. But Nico may distroy him anyways.

I'm really pleased with the looks of it and also the first testing results... they have the potential to be really quick on some tracks.

Oh and I'll be damned if Nakajima can beat Nico.

I think Williams at best hope for 5th...

I see the top to be Ferrari, Renault, Mclaren, BMW, and then Williams... All the rest have quite good lineups, while Williams just has Nico and no good testers..
