Renault's Jolyon Palmer assesses his first season in F1 and his aspirations for the rest of the season

Jolyon Palmer says his first year in F1 remains "a dream come true" despite his Renault team struggling at the wrong end of the grid.

The 2014 GP2 champion was appointed to the F1 grid last year shortly before the Lotus outfit was bought by Renault. But as the team reintegrate to F1, Palmer and team-mate Kevin Magnussen have had to contend with a tougher challenge than they could have envisaged.

Nevertheless, Jolyon says he is still relishing the task and his first season in F1 with the 25-year-old adamant "l am on the way up".
