Max Verstappen will take part in the virtual 12 Hours of Sebring this weekend. The Dutchman will drive a Ferrari 488 GT3 for his sim-racing team Redline.

Besides his extremely successful Formula 1 career, Verstappen is also an avid sim racer. His collaboration with Team Redline has already brought the two-time world champion success, although Verstappen's previous endurance race was less successful. In the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans, Verstappen was forced to abandon the race after ongoing technical problems and disagreements with race control.

The virtual 12 Hours of Sebring will be held on a different platform, and so Verstappen seems confident enough to return to the world of sim racing this time around. In preparation, Verstappen already drove in some small races last week, where the Dutchman was lord and master each time.

Well-known teammate for Verstappen

Verstappen's teammate is also by no means an unknown name. IndyCar driver Alex Palou, 2021 world champion and reserve driver for McLaren's Formula 1 team, will alternate for Verstappen during the virtual race. The race can be followed live via the video below.
