Force India secures 2014 Mercedes deal

Force India has signed a long term agreement with Mercedes-Benz, the team has announced. Mercedes-Benz will supply the Silverstone based team with a complete Power Unit – including the Energy Recovery System – under the new regulations, which come into effect from the start of next season. Force India has used Mercedes' engines since the start of 2009. 'With new powertrain regulations being introduced next year, I can’t think of a better partner to work with as Formula One enters a new and exciting era,' said team principal Vijay Mallya.
