P2: Vettel edges out Alonso

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel was fastest in second practice on Friday ahead of this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.The World Champion lapped the 4.655km Circuit de Catalunya in a time of 1:22.808 seconds, although Fernando Alonso was just 0.017s slower in his Ferrari. With their team-mates Mark Webber and Felipe Massa third and fifth fastest respectively, the session once again pointed towards a battle between Red Bull and Ferrari for the victory spoils. Lotus can be added to the list as well: Kimi Raikkonen was fourth fastest and with the team's E21 also demonstrating its superior pace over longer runs, there is no reason at this stage to suggest that they won't figure on...
