Mallya: F1 needs viable cost solution

Force India team boss Vijay Mallya has sent out a warning message to the Formula 1 field ahead of the sport's transition from V8 engines to turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 units, explaining that a solution is promptly required to stop costs spiralling out of control. The Indian businessman, whose squad operates on a smaller budget to the front-runners, says a "winning at any cost" approach is not a sustainable route to take, arguing that common interests must be studied to safeguard the future of all teams.
