'Allison not joining Honda'

McLaren have denied reports that James Allison is set to join Honda ahead of their return to the sport as an engine supplier in 2015.A Finnish newspaper claimed the highly regarded former Lotus Technical Director would oversee the production of a car and a test team for the Japanese manufacturer to develop their power plant throughout 2014. However, a McLaren spokesman said that the reports were "untrue." Thus, the future of Allison, who resigned from Lotus at the start of May, remains unclear. Red Bull announced via twitter earlier this month that he would not be joining them. Share: 0 0 var commentsAllowPost = 1
