Renault deals 'almost done' Renault are close to finalising their engine deals for next season with Lotus and Caterham on the verge of re-signing. Last month, Renault confirmed that Toro Rosso had joined their customer list, opting to use the same engine supplier as senior team Red Bull when F1 makes the switch to V6 engines. Days later, though, it was announced that Renault had lost Williams to Mercedes with the Grove-based team deciding to switch suppliers. The French company, however, is still set to meet its target of four customers as both Lotus and Caterham are close to signing new deals.
