Lotus hoping to run DDRS for first time

The Lotus F1 Team have confirmed that they intend to run their so-called 'device' or Double-DRS at the British Grand Prix for the first time. The outfit has trialed the wing-stalling system during practice in the past, but has yet to run it during qualifying or the race itself. They had hoped to debut it at the Spanish event following a straight-line test, but the test results weren't conclusive, therefore further development was required to ensure it behaves as planned. Director of trackside operations, Alan Permane, confirmed they undetook a further straight-line test ahead of the British GP.
