Ecclestone won t be Sauber saviour

Bernie Ecclestone has revealed that he won't step in to help Sauber out of its current financial predicament.The Swiss team is currently facing issues that have resulted in some suppliers going without payment, while reports had suggested that lead driver Nico Hulkenberg has also been forced to wait for wages.Ecclestone has been known to step in and help teams in the past, but insisted that he wouldn't be able to help the Hinwil-based outfit, even though it was 'what the team deserved'.The commercial rights holder even suggested that a buy-out could be the best way for the team to ensure its long-term future, with suggestions that new sponsorship deals are set to secure stability in the...
