Grand Prix Preview: Belgian GP

After a lengthy summer break, Formula 1 will make its return at one of the sports classic circuits: Spa-Francorchamps. What a circuit for the sport to kick start the second half of the season. It is drenched in history, a true challenge for both drivers and cars and a fan favourite. The 3.452 mile circuit starts off with a short run to turn one – La Source. It is a tight right-hand hairpin that is a strong overtaking place, but usually creates incident on the first lap. The pit exit follows the inside of the hairpin and re-joins on the right at the exit. Turn two is a short right-hand kink before the formidable Eau Rouge and Raidillon.
