A Health and Safety Executive has confirmed that any possible links between Maria de Villota's death and her testing injury will be examined. On Friday morning news broke that the former Marussia test driver was found dead in a hotel in Spain. The 33-year-old's death is being treated as a "natural death" by the Madrid police while some reports in Spain claim she died of a heartattack. However, whether her death was linked to the severe injuries she suffered last July remains to be seen. De Villota suffered major to her face and skull as well as losing her right eye.
