McLaren lubricant provider Mobil1 has today released a video featuring Jenson Button, explaining some of the challenges that lubricant providers face now and will face in 2014 as well. Different to popular belief, lubricant and fuel companies already strive to create products as light as possible, even though engine regulations have not had any focus on fuel consumption in recent years. The move to ban refuelling however did get things moving slightly, as the penalty for higher than average fuel consumption became bigger than it was before.
