Vettel claims fastest time from Webber in Friday practice

Sebastian Vettel topped Friday practice for the United States Grand Prix on Friday, a tenth quicker from Red Bull teammate Mark Webber. The German set a time of 1 minute 37.305 seconds around the 5.5-kilometre Circuit of the Americas, nearly half a second faster than Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg, who was third. Lewis Hamilton was fourth ahead of Lotus’ Heikki Kovalainen, who has replaced the injured Kimi Raikkonen for the weekend, with the Finn completing the most number of laps among the 22 drivers.
