Paul Hembery: first day at Interlagos was an opportunity lost

Interlagos, BRAZIL, November 22nd, 2013 (F1Plus / Bruno Ferreira) - The first day of action of the Brazilian GP was not as fruitful as Pirelli hoped it to be. The heavy rain that fell at Interlagos throughout the two free practices prevented the teams from trying for the first time one of the compounds that will be used in 2014. In a press conference this Friday, which was attended by F1Plus, Pirelli’s motorsport boss Paul Hembery said that the day was a little bit frustrating. “We would not have brought them [the tyres] here if we didn’t want to run them, so it’s an opportunity lost.
