Team Review: Lotus

Despite a win at the season opening Australian Grand Prix, as well as a second consecutive fourth place finish in the Constructors’ Championship, it was in all, a tumultuous season for Lotus, with questions concerning Kimi Raikkonen’s future, as well as the team’s financial state, and on-off investment deals casting a shadow over what was a decent year for the Enstone-based outfit on the track. Kimi Raikkonen won for Lotus in the opening race of the year, but the Finn'srelationship with the team deteriorated later in the season. The E21, the first 2013 car launched, was a clear successor to Lotus’ successful E20 of 2012, an evolution, rather than an all-out revolution in design....
