Four BAFTA nominations for Rush

Ron Howard's film Rush, which depicts the intense 1976 Formula 1 championship battle between James Hunt and Niki Lauda, has received four BAFTA nominations. It will go up against five rivals in the Outstanding British Film category, which include Gravity, Mandela: Long Walk to Fredom and Saving Mr Banks. Following his Golden Globe nomination in December last year, Daniel Bruhl – who portrays Niki Lauda in the film – has once again been nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category.
